We completed Georgea's US readoption, the last step in the long, winding road of paperwork in early January. James & I were both teary-eyed. The "completion" of what we delved into head-first, years prior was a reminder of the gift that Georgea is to our life together.
Here with our adoption attorney. Such a happy and yet emotionally exhausting day. Sentimental. Celebratory. So thankful to move forward to just "living life" with our girl. No more papertrail....just the 3 of us. Family.
