New Year's Day 2011

Our cousins who live in Virginia came to see us while we were in Maryland at my Dad's house over the holiday. It was so great to see them. The time gets away from us and it had been too long. This visit was special as it was the first time we'd seen them since Georgea joined our family. Our cousins Michael and Melissa have four beautiful, smart....just all-around wonderful children. Their youngest, Micah is adopted from China, and is from Guangxi province, just like Georgea. I think it's so cool that Georgea has a cousin that shares her heritage and her story. It was such blessing to have some time with them and to see the girls together.

I love talking adoption and really enjoyed having this time with Melissa. Sweet Jordy patiently listened in.

Great pics! I don't think I was aware about Georgea having a cousin also adopted from China. What a nice connection.
